Haymarket Media Limited wins at ESGBusiness Awards 2025 for sustainability and inclusion

Haymarket Media Limited won Carbon Disclosure Award - Hong Kong and Inclusion and Diversity Award - Hong Kong in the ESGBusiness Awards 2025. The recognition highlights the company’s measurable progress in environmental sustainability and its commitment to building a truly inclusive workplace.
Through its Haymarket Impact programme, the company embeds sustainability across its operations, supply chains, and content. Haymarket Media Limited published its Global Impact Report and introduced ISO-certified policies that address carbon reduction, renewable energy adoption, and waste management. In Hong Kong, its office achieved a 13% cut in energy use, whilst all operations transitioned to 100% certified sustainable paper. The company also secured ISO 20121 certification for sustainable event management, making it one of the first media firms in the UK to gain the accreditation.
Beyond environmental goals, Haymarket Media Limited also strengthened its social agenda through equity and inclusion. Its 2024 Gender Pay Gap report showed women in the company’s global workforce earned 1.9% higher on average and 13.1% higher at the median compared to men.
In Asia, women make up 76% of Haymarket’s workforce. Partnerships with groups such as Mother’s Choice and the Zubin Foundation supported vulnerable young women and ethnic minorities, whilst regional initiatives like International Women’s Day forums and Campaign Asia’s ‘50 Over 50’ list amplified diverse voices across industries.
