HH Global secures two awards at the APAC ESGBusiness Awards 2024

At this year’s APAC ESGBusiness Awards, HH Global proudly secured the Sustainable Supply Chain Award - Hong Kong and the Sustainable Supply Chain Partnership Award - Hong Kong, in recognition of their pioneering Sustainable Procurement Framework (SPF) programme.
These awards celebrate companies at the forefront of sustainability, with recognition going to those who excel in environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices.
HH Global’s Sustainable Procurement Framework (SPF) is a technology-enabled solution designed to empower our strategic supplier partners with the tools and insights to enhance their ESG credentials and build long-term sustainability practices.
Empowering strategic supplier partners through sustainable growth
The programme, built in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, was developed through cross-functional collaboration with sustainability partners, including the British Standards Institution, and drew on academic and industry expertise. The SPF addresses the specific sustainability challenges faced by a global supplier network with a complex supply chain.
With the SPF platform, strategic supplier partners gain access to consistent, measurable data on their ESG maturity scores, alongside downloadable ESG Guidance Reports tailored to their unique performance. These resources provide clarity on scoring methodology and development progress, empowering HH Global’s supplier partners to take actionable steps toward sustainable growth.
What sets this framework apart is its inclusivity; resources are offered in seven languages, with tailored guidance available to help our strategic supplier partners improve their scores. Existing survey responses are seamlessly integrated, simplifying the onboarding process and ensuring no-cost access to them.
Transforming supply chains and ESG growth
HH Global’s commitment to driving ESG growth in supply chains is reflected in the scale of the SPF’s impact. More than 1,000 strategic supplier partners across 55 countries have joined the framework, representing US$1.3b, or 66%, of HH Global’s spend. Of these, more than 350 or 35 percent, of those engaged have progressed beyond their entry-level ESG Maturity Stage, with continued progression in their maturity level anticipated.
Building on this momentum, HH Global has integrated ESG Maturity Ratings into their procurement processes, setting KPIs to drive continuous strategic supplier partner engagement. This ensures their highest performing partners are prioritised and celebrated through initiatives like their regional Strategic Supplier Partner Awards, where the “Sustainability Award’ recognises the strategic supplier partner demonstrating the most significant advancement in their ESG maturity level year-on-year.
