AETOS clinches ESGBusiness Awards for green fleet transformation and sustainable mobility
Driving fleet transformation through Project GREEN, AETOS, part of SJ Group, sets new benchmarks in security and ESG reporting.
AETOS Holdings has become the first security company in Singapore to win two prestigious accolades at the ESGBusiness Awards 2025: the Excellence Award - Singapore for Sustainable Mobility and the Initiative Award - Singapore for Green Mobility.
These double honours highlight AETOS’s leadership as an industry first mover in embedding environmentally responsible practices across its operations. At the heart of this achievement is their initiative, Project GREEN — Galvanising Responsible Emissions and Efficiency for Next-generation Mobility.
Launched to tackle inefficiencies in legacy fleet management systems, Project GREEN aligns AETOS’s operations with growing climate priorities. By integrating telematics, IoT, and blockchain, AETOS transitioned to a smart, data-driven mobility ecosystem that reduces emissions, improves road safety, and enhances productivity.
This innovative application of technology has enabled real-time ESG reporting, positioning the company ahead of evolving climate-related disclosure requirements in Singapore.
A key achievement under Project GREEN is the digitalisation of cash-in-transit workflows. What was once a time-consuming, manual process of order management and route planning is now streamlined into a secure, automated system with 100% traceability. Deployment planning that previously required an hour is now completed in half the time, whilst enabling officers to make faster and safer decisions on the ground.
The initiative has delivered measurable impact for both the company and the environment. AETOS achieved a 30% reduction in carbon emissions through trip-level monitoring, a 50% reduction in paper usage by digitalising its planning and reporting processes, and a 20% improvement in driver behaviour — contributing to safer operations and lower fuel consumption. All results are backed by blockchain-verified reporting via ESGpedia, enabling trusted emission reduction certifications.
